Back in the seventies a virus epidemic shook the world. In the year 1982, the Juniper Corporation, a genetics company, administered a cure. Everything was well.

Or so everyone thought. The vaccine changed something. When the people who were cured began having children, the vaccine altered the kids' genes. And now those kids have special abilities.

It wasn't long until the Juniper Corporation figured it all out and started their hunt. The only way to reverse this ungodly effect was to re-infect these kids with the original virus. This virus is killing...

Two products have come from this hunt. The Vervain Underground are doing all they can to evade these Juniper agents. They run, hide and do all they can to make sure no one gets hurt. But The Thistle Guild aren't quite as peaceful. They have no problem with hurting someone else - normal or infected - they'll do just that.

So what would you do if you had special abilities? Run into the arms of Juniper to get rid of this cruel curse? Head for the hills with the rest of Vervain? Or fight back on the Thistle Guild?
